The Social Thirties is growing, and I'm looking for a small team of lovely women to help me host our events.
If you've been to one of our socials, you'll know how much thought goes into making everyone feel welcome — especially those walking through the door alone.
I'm looking for women who genuinely care about our community, love meeting new people and would be happy to represent The Social Thirties at events I can't personally attend.
You don't need professional hosting experience. Just a friendly face, a genuine interest in people and an understanding of what makes our community so special.
As a Social Thirties host, you'll be the friendly face welcoming our guests and helping everything run smoothly on the day.
You won't be responsible for planning events, organising venues, selling tickets or handling bookings — Courtney will take care of all of that. Your job is to look after the women in the room and make sure they have a lovely experience.
You could find yourself hosting:
Bottomless brunches and dining experiences with a table full of new faces.
Christmas wreath-making, creative workshops and hands-on activities.
Coffee mornings, daytime socials, evening parties, wellness events and other community experiences.
We'll always discuss opportunities with you in advance, so you can choose the events that suit your interests and availability.
We know your time is valuable, and we want our hosts to feel appreciated.
For a standard hosting event, you'll receive a £50 hosting fee, plus your place at the event completely covered by The Social Thirties.
That means if you're hosting a brunch, you'll get to enjoy the brunch too. If you're hosting a wreath-making workshop, you'll get to make your own wreath alongside everyone else!
Hosting fees for longer events will be agreed separately in advance.
You'll also have the opportunity to meet more women within the community and become part of a small team helping The Social Thirties continue to grow.
We're not looking for the loudest person in the room or someone with an impressive CV.
We're looking for women who are genuinely friendly, approachable, reliable and thoughtful.
Women who notice when someone is standing alone and naturally make an effort to include them.
Women who understand that for some of our guests, simply walking through the door is a really big deal.
Most importantly, we're looking for women who care about The Social Thirties and want every guest to have the same wonderful experience — whether Courtney is there or not.
